Dr. HashemAl-Fadel is a Quality and accreditation Consultant and a lead hospital surveyor. He got an extensive experience from USA,Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Egypt,Europe, UK, Thailand and China working with Hospitals, and medical services organizations. He held executive leadership and technical positions for General Electric- Healthcare, Project HOPE-USA, Egypt and China,director of Clinical Engineering at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and a Senior Clinical Engineer at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, USA.
He holds B.S in Biomedical Engineering, MBAand PhD in Healthcare Management from Universities of Illinois, Indiana and Washington. Also a US board Certified in Clinical Engineering; Certified as JCI Hospital Surveyor, certified TEMOS Hospital Assessor,QHA Trent surveyor and certified green belt Six Sigma. He has published over 60 articles in international journals,three book chapters and presented in many international conferences.
Dr. Al Fadel currently serves as the chairman of Temos Assessors Advisory Board/Germany,Temos Regional director for Jordan and KSA, chairman of quality council for Istiklal Hospital in Jordan, president of the Jordanian Association for special needs and rehab and Vice Chairman of Board of Heathcare Sector(BHS) of the Arab trainers Union. He also serves as surveyor and lead surveyor for Temos International Healthcare Accreditation/ Germany, QHAT rents Accreditation/ UK. He participated in surveying hospitals in Jordan, Greece, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Turkey, and Thailand well independent quality consultant for different hospitals. Also currently is a member in the Jordanian HTA National committee. Previously, he served as a healthcare technical consultant for US AID for Jordan MOH,Quality Consultant for King Fahad Medical City and Prince Sultan Cardiac City in Riyadh and Consultant for Jordan FDA.
